"To cut/ not cut hair | To grow/ to wash/ to comb | Why is it such a big deal? Long hair, wigs, hair colors, treatments, hair wash, conditioner, serum, shikakai, parachute, eggs, beer, olive oil, almond oil, warm water, cold water, hair brush, comb, scrunchy. Children, adults, seniors... What's the big deal? It's just dead protein, right?? What does it have to do with gender? with anything?? Let my hair overtake your world, let my bald head shut you up, let there be a hairevolution! Leave me alone.

It's interesting how the smallest (or longest) of things like hair is so gendered. It makes up for a major component in gender presentation. The year is 2021 and we are still commenting on someone's phyisical attributes. Where is the awakening of the human conscience to dig deeper?
